Text: The Complete Guide to Yin Yoga by Bernie Clark (purchase ahead of time)

We are offering a Yin Yoga Teacher Training with Carin Lockhart! This is a 20- Hour Yoga alliance certified course (16 classroom hours).  Yin yoga focuses on the deeper, connective tissues, such as your fascia as well as working with the nervous and energy systems.

This is a great training for anyone that wants to cultivate a slower, deeper yoga practice! This includes folks that are new to yoga, people with a current yoga practice and existing yoga teachers.

We’ll dive into the philosophy of Yin, breakdown the meridians, review the anatomy of the spine, hips and fascia, learn tons of poses (some you will not learn elsewhere) and review tips & tricks for teaching a Yin Yoga class. We’ll also do 3 – 4 juicy yin practices complete with yoga nidra meditations.
